At Everett King Design, our goal is to create beautiful, functional spaces that make you smile. We do this by first getting to know you. Then we translate your unique personality, life, and vision into livable spaces through design and art. Whether you need assistance with a new build, interior design, or art selection and installation, we look forward to helping you create a place that is wholly and happily yours.
Regardless of the kinds of service you choose, we follow a simple, three-step process on every project.
Introduction Phase
EKD meets with the client on-site to assess the space and listen to the clients’ vision. We assess the overall style, any pending updates for the house, and the priority points on the renovation.
Design Phase
The next step includes a comprehensive overview of design needs, including the actual design plans (if needed) and scope. Depending on the needs of the project, EKD can work with you to bring your vision to life with drawings and renderings, if applicable.
Procurement Phase
EKD then develops a project plan and moves into the materials selection phase. This includes paint colors, furniture color and layout (if applicable), hardware/fixtures, tile, stone, plumbing lighting, appliances (if applicable), and any other necessary selections for the project. The Kitchen Renovation Design service includes appointments to make selections at supply stores where needed and walk-through with the electrician and plumber to confirm location and placements.
Completion Phase
Once you have made your final selections, it is time to coordinate with the trade workers on install dates. Once everything is installed, EKD will schedule a photoshoot of your new space and help with any finishing touches.
